LaneWatch System
LaneWatch uses a camera and the display to help drivers recognize objects in the passenger's side blind spot. The added visibility improves safety when changing lanes or making right turns.
The driver can see other vehicles, bicycles, or pedestrians that are not normally visible in the passenger's side mirror.
Reference line
The LaneWatch image is provided with three reference lines, each showing the distance from the rear bumper. Three lines that appear on the display can give an idea of how far the vehicles or objects on the display are from your vehicle, respectively. If an object is near line 1 (in red), it indicates that it is close to your vehicle, whereas an object near line 3 is farther away.

LaneWatch Camera
LaneWatch may reduce the passenger's side blind spot by displaying the LaneWatch camera image mounted under the passenger's side power mirror. The image is displayed on the audio unit or the audio-navigation unit when the turn signal is activated to the passenger's side or the LaneWatch switch is pressed.
The LaneWatch obtains information from the external sensors and the switches that are connected to their respective control units.
