Honda Pilot: Radiator Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Engine Coolant - Drain

2. A/C Condenser Fan Shroud Assembly and Radiator Fan Shroud Assembly - Remove

3. Upper Radiator Hose and Lower Radiator Hose - Disconnect

1. Disconnect the upper radiator hose (A) and the lower radiator hose (B).

4. A/C Condenser Mounting Bolt - Remove

5. Radiator - Remove

1. Pull up the radiator.
2. Remove the lower cushions (A).

6. ECT Sensor 2 - Remove

1. Remove the ECT sensor 2 as needed.

7. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:

• When the radiator assembly installed. Make sure the lower cushions are set securely.
• After installing all the removed parts, refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system.
