Honda Pilot: Rear Door Panel Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Rear Door Panel - Remove

1. Push on the upper hook (A) with the appropriate trim tool, and then pull back the inner handle cap (B) to remove it.

2. Remove the screws.

3. Remove the pull pocket cap (A) with a small flat-tip screwdriver.

4. Start at the bottom edge of the rear door panel (A), remove the clips with a commercially available trim pad remover.
5. Starting at the rear, pull the door panel upward.
6. Release the inner handle (B) from the inside of the rear door panel.

7. While holding the rear door panel (A) away from the door, disconnect the connectors (B), and removed the harness clips (C).

2. Rear Door Armrest - Remove

1. Remove the rear door armrest (A).

3. Rear Door Pull Pocket - Remove

1. Remove the rear door pull pocket (A).

4. Rear Power Window Switch Panel - Remove

1. Remove the rear power window switch panel (A).

5. Rear Door Inner Weatherstrip - Remove

1. If necessary, remove the rear door inner weatherstrip (A).

6. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
