Honda Pilot: Rear License Trim Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Tailgate Lower Trim Panel - Remove

2. Tailgate Outer Handle/Lock Switch - Remove

3. Rear License Trim - Remove

1. Remove the left rear license trim (A) and right rear license trim (B).
2. Disconnect the connectors (C).

4. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Lower Arm A Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Vehicle - Lift

2. Rear Wheel - Remove

3. Lower Arm A - Remove

NOTE: Use the new flange bolts during reassembly.

4. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the lower arm A in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
   • Loosely install nuts and/or bolts to secure the bushings.

     Load the suspension with the vehicle's weight and tighten the nuts and/or bolts to the specified torque.

   • Before installing the wheel, clean the mating surfaces on the brake disc/drum and the inside of the wheel.

5. Wheel Alignment - Check
