Motor Test
1. Rear Door Panel - Remove
2. Rear Power Window Motor - Test
- Test the motor in each direction by connecting 12 volt
battery power and ground at the connector (A) according to
the table. When the motor stops running, disconnect 12 volt
battery power immediately.
If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, remove
the rear door regulator, then go to step 2.
- Test the rear power window motor (A) by connecting 12 volt
battery power and ground according to the table. When the
motor stops running, disconnect 12 volt battery power
immediately.
- If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, the rear
power window motor is faulty; replace the rear door
regulator.
If the motor runs smoothly, troubleshoot the rear power
window motor circuit or adjust the rear door glass.
3. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
