Honda Pilot: Windows

Opening/Closing the Power Windows

In the Honda Pilot 2023, you can open and close the power windows using the switches on the doors when the power mode is in the ON position. The driver's side switches allow you to control all the windows. To operate the windows from any seat other than the driver's, ensure the power window lock button on the driver's side is switched off (not pushed in, indicator off). When the power window lock button is pushed in, the indicator light turns on, and only the driver's window can be operated. This feature is particularly useful for child safety.

The Honda Pilot 2023 features power windows that can be operated when the power mode is in the ON position, using the switches on the doors. The driver can control all the windows from the driver's side switches. To allow passengers to operate their windows, make sure the power window lock button on the driver's side is off (not pushed in, indicator off). When this button is pushed in, the indicator light comes on, restricting window operation to the driver’s window only. For safety, especially with children in the vehicle, turn on the power window lock button.

WARNING

Closing a power window on someone's hands or fingers can cause serious injury.

Make sure your passengers are away from the windows before closing them.

The power windows can be operated for up to 10 minutes after you set the power mode to VEHICLE OFF.

Opening either front door cancels this function.

Auto Reverse

If a power window senses resistance when closing automatically, it will stop closing and reverse direction.

The driver's window auto reverse function is disabled when you continuously pull up the switch.

The auto reverse function stops sensing when the window is almost closed to ensure that it fully closes.
