Removal
NOTICE
Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle; it may damage the paint. If brake fluid gets on the paint, wash it off immediately with
water.
NOTE: After removal, plug the ends of the hoses and the joints to prevent spilling brake fluid.
Front
1. Vehicle - Lift
2. Front Wheel - Remove
3. Front Brake Hose - Remove
- Disconnect the brake line (A) from the brake hose (B).
- Remove the brake hose clip (C).
- Remove the banjo bolt (D), and disconnect the brake hose
from the caliper body.
Rear
1. Vehicle - Lift
2. Rear Wheel - Remove
3. Rear Brake Hose - Remove
- Disconnect the brake line (A) from the brake hose (B).
- Remove the brake hose clip (C).
- Remove the banjo bolt (D), and disconnect the brake hose
from the caliper body.
Installation
NOTICE
Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle; it may damage the paint. If brake fluid gets on the paint, wash it off immediately with
water.
Front
1. Front Brake Hose - Install
NOTE:
- Check that all parts are free of dirt and other foreign
particles.
- Replace parts with new ones whenever specified to do so.
- Install the brake hose (A) with the brake hose mounting bolt
(B).
- Connect the brake hose to the caliper body with the banjo
bolt (C) and new sealing washers (D).
- Install the new brake hose clip (E) to the brake hose.
- Connect the brake line (F) to the brake hose.
2. Brake System - Bleed
3. Brake Hose and Line - Check
NOTE:
- Check for leaks at hose and line joints or connections, and
retighten if necessary.
- Check the brake hoses for interference and twisting.
4. Front Wheels - Install
Rear
1. Rear Brake Hose - Install
NOTE:
- Check that all parts are free of dirt and other foreign
particles.
- Replace parts with new ones whenever specified to do so.
- Install the brake hose (A) with the brake hose mounting bolt
(B).
- Connect the brake hose to the caliper body with the banjo
bolt (C) and new sealing washers (D).
- Install the new brake hose clip (E) to the brake hose.
- Connect the brake line (F) to the brake hose.

3. Brake Hose and Line - Check
NOTE:
