Removal/Installation
1. Brake Booster Pressure Sensor - Remove
- Disconnect the connector (A).
- Remove the brake booster pressure sensor (B).
2. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the brake booster pressure sensor in the reverse
order of removal.

Removal/Installation
1. Air Cleaner - Remove
2. Master Cylinder - Remove
3. Under-Hood Fuse/Relay Box - Move
4. Brake Line - Remove
- Remove the brake lines (A) from the brake line clamps (B).
5. Brake Booster - Remove
- Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose (A) from the
brake booster (B).
- Remove the lock pin (A).
- Remove the clevis pin (B).
NOTE: Apply multipurpose grease to the yoke pin in the
brake pedal.
- Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (C).
- Remove the brake booster (A) from the engine
compartment.
NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the brake booster mounting
surfaces and the threads on the booster studs.
- Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines.
- Use the new brake booster gasket (B) during
reassembly.
6. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the brake booster in the reverse order of removal,
and note these items:
- Check the brake pedal height and free play after
installing the master cylinder, and adjust it if necessary.
- Bleed the brake system.
