Honda Pilot: Brake Pedal Position Switch Removal and Installation

Removal and Installation

1. Brake Pedal Position Switch - Remove

1. Disconnect the connector (A).
2. Turn the brake pedal position switch (B) counterclockwise to remove the switch from the pedal bracket (C).
3. Remove the attaching piece (D).

2. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

3. Brake Pedal and Brake Pedal Position Switch - Adjust

Removal/Installation

1. Brake Pedal - Remove

1. Disconnect the connector (A).
2. Remove the wire harness clips (B).
3. Remove the lock pin (C).
4. Remove the clevis pin (D).

   NOTE: Apply multipurpose grease to the clevis pin in the brake pedal.

5. Remove the brake pedal with the bracket (E).
6. Remove the brake pedal position switch (F) by turning it 45 º counterclockwise to release from bracket.

2. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the brake pedal in the reverse order of removal.
