Honda Pilot: Interior Lights System Description - Components

Map Lights

The map lights are equipped on all vehicles. The map lights can be turned on and off by pressing on the map light lens *2 or the map light switch *1 . A mechanical switch illuminates the map light regardless of conditions.

Footwell Lights/Beverage Holder Lights

The footwell lights are placed at driver's and front passenger's feet. The beverage holder lights are placed around the beverage holder. The these lights illuminate when the taillight relay is ON.

Vanity Mirror Lights

The vanity mirror lights are placed into both visors. The vanity mirror lights illuminate when the vanity mirror cover opens.

Console Box Light

The console box light is placed inside a console box. The console box light illuminates when the taillight relay is ON. The console box light brightness can be adjusted.

Door Courtesy Lights

The door courtesy lights are placed in driver's and front passenger's door panels. The door courtesy light illuminates when the these doors open.

Door Inner Handle Lights/Door Pocket Lights

The door inner handle lights and the door pocket lights are placed in each door panel. The door inner handle lights illuminate when the taillight relay is ON. Brightness of the door inner handle lights can be adjusted.

Interior Light

The interior light is equipped on all vehicles. The interior light is linked to the entry light control system.

Glove Box Light

The glove box light is placed inside the glove box. The glove box light illuminates when the glove box opens.

Cargo Area Light

The cargo area light is placed in the cargo area. The cargo area light illuminate when the tailgate opens.
