Honda Pilot: Mis-Fuel Inhibit Device Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Mis-Fuel Inhibit Device - Remove

1. Pry up the four lock tabs (A), and turn the mis-fuel inhibit device (B) about 90 degrees.

2. Tilt the mis-fuel inhibit device (A) in the direction of the arrow to remove it from the fuel fill pipe.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the fuel fill pipe or the fuel fill pipe top side surface (B).

2. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

   NOTE: Align the part (A) on the new mis-fuel inhibit device (B) and the fuel fill pipe (C).
