Honda Pilot: Moonroof Drain Channel Slider and Cable Assembly Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Moonroof Motor - Remove

2. Drain Channel - Remove

3. Rear Middle Drain Tube - Remove

4. Moonroof Frame - Remove

5. Drain Channel Slider and Cable Assembly - Remove

1. Remove the drain channel slider (A). (both side)

2. Pivot the glass brackets (A) down by sliding the link lifters (B) back, and then slide both glass brackets back with the link lifters.

3. Slide the moonroof link assembly (A) back, and then remove it from the frame (B).

6. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Note these items:

• Apply multipurpose grease to the glass brackets (A) and the guide rail area of the frame (B) indicated by the arrows.
• Before reinstalling the motor, make sure both link lifters are parallel, and in the tilt up position.

7. Moonroof Glass Position - Adjust

8. Moonroof Control Unit - Reset

9. Water Leaks - Check
