Honda Pilot: Rear Door Checker Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Rear Door Panel - Remove

2. Rear Door Plastic Cover - Remove

1. Remove the plug cap (A).
2. Remove the rear door plastic cover (B) as needed.

   NOTE: If the plastic cover is damaged or torn, replace it with a new one.

3. Rear Door Panel Barrier A - Remove (For Some Models)

4. Rear Door Checker - Remove

1. While supporting the rear door, remove the bolts (A, B).
2. Remove the rear door checker (C).

5. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

   NOTE: Apply medium strength liquid thread lock to the door checker mounting bolt before installation.
