Honda Pilot: Rear Individual Map Light Removal, Installation, and Test

Removal/Installation

1. Rear Individual Map Light - Remove

Rear Individual Map Light: 5W

1. Carefully pry off the lenses (A).
2. Remove the bulbs (B).
3. Remove the rear individual map light housing (C).
4. Disconnect the connector (D).

2. All Parts Removed - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Test

1. Rear Individual Map Light - Test

NOTE: When doing the rear individual map light test, make sure to install the bulbs correctly.

1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
2. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulb(s) or the rear individual map light (A).

Rear Inner Fender Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Rear Wheel - Remove

2. Rear Inner Fender - Remove

1. Canada models: Remove the rear splash guard (A).

3. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
