Honda Pilot: Rear Stabilizer Bar Removal and Installation

Honda Pilot 2016-2022 (YF5/YF6) Service Manual / Remove, Install, Replace, Check info / Rear Stabilizer Bar Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Vehicle - Lift

2. Rear Wheels - Remove

3. Spare tire - Remove

4. Stabilizer Link - Disconnect

  1. Disconnect both sides of the stabilizer link from the stabilizer bar.

5. Stabilizer Bar - Remove

Honda Pilot. Remove, Install, Replace, Check info

  1. Remove the bushing holders (A).

    NOTE: Use the new flange bolts during reassembly.

  2. Remove the bushings (B).
  3. Remove the stabilizer bar (C).

6. All Removed Parts - Install

  1. Install the stabilizer bar in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
  • Note the right and left direction of the stabilizer bar.
  • Refer to stabilizer link removal/installation to connect the stabilizer bar to the links
  • Before installing the wheel, clean the mating surfaces on the brake disc/drum and the inside of the wheel.

7. Wheel Alignment - Check
