Honda Pilot: Roof Rail Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Roof Rail Cover - Remove

1. Remove the roof rail cover (A).

   NOTE: Using a Torx T15 bit, remove the screw.

2. Roof Rail - Remove

1. Remove the roof rail (A).

   NOTE:

   • Using a Torx T40 bit, remove the nuts (B).
   • Using a Torx T30 bit, remove the nuts (C).

3. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION

Before following the procedure, be sure to observe precautions and eliminate static electricity.

1. Center Console Panel - Remove

2. Intelligent Traction Management Switch - Remove (With AWD)

3. Snow Switch - Remove (Without AWD)

4. SBW Shifter Assembly - Remove

5. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
