Replacement
1. Countershaft Bearing - Remove

- Remove the countershaft bearing (A) using the 25-40 mm
adjustable bearing puller and a commercially available
3/8"-16 slide hammer (B).

- Remove the ATF guide plate (A), and replace it if it is
damaged.
2. Countershaft Bearing - Install

- Install the ATF guide plate (A).

- Install the countershaft bearing (A) in the direction shown.

- Drive the countershaft bearing (A) using the 15 x 135L
driver handle and the 72 x 75 mm bearing driver
attachment; install the bearing outer notch-cut (B) to a
depth (C) of 0-0.14 mm (0-0.0055 in) below the torque
converter housing surface (D).

Adjustable Bearing Puller, 25-40 mm 07736-A01000B*

- Bearing Driver Attachment, 72 x 75 mm 07746-0010600

- Driver Handle, 15 x 135L 07749-0010000
*: 07736-A01000B
must be used with commercially available 3/8"-16
slide hammer.
