Replacement

1. Idler Gear Shaft Bearing - Remove

1. Heating the transmission housing to about 212 ºF (100 ºC) using a heat gun (A).

   NOTE: Do not heat the transmission housing more than 212 ºF (100 ºC).

2. Remove the idler gear shaft bearing (A) using the 22 mm bearing remover shaft, the remover handle, and the slide hammer.

2. Idler Gear Shaft Bearing - Install

1. Install the idler gear shaft bearing until it bottoms using the 15 x 135L driver handle and the 37 x 40 mm bearing driver attachment.

• Driver Handle, 15 x 135L 07749-0010000

• Remover Handle 07936-3710100

• Slide Hammer 07936-371020A

• Bearing Remover Shaft Set, 22 mm 070MC-MFR0100
