Test
1. HDS DLC - Connect
2. A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve - HDS Function Test
- Select Clutch Pressure Control (Linear) Solenoid Valve A,
B, C, and D individually in the Miscellaneous Test Menu
with the HDS.
- Test A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A, B, C, and
D individually with the HDS.
- If the valves tests OK, the test is complete. Disconnect
the HDS.
- If any of the valves do not test OK, follow the
instructions on the HDS.
- If any of the valves do not test OK, and the HDS does
not determine the cause, go to the next step, and test
A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A, B, C, and
D.
3. Front Bulkhead Cover - Remove
4. Air Intake Tube - Remove
5. 12 Volt Battery - Remove
6. 12 Volt Battery Box - Remove
- Disconnect the connector (A).
7. A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Connector - Disconnect
- Disconnect the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve
A, B, C, or D connector.
8. A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve - Resistance
Check
*: Terminal side of male terminals
- Measure the resistance between terminals No. 1 and No. 2
for each A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A, B, C,
and D.
Standard: 4.7-5.9 Ω
- If the resistance is out of the standard, replace the
secondary valve body.
- If the resistance is within the standard, go to the next
step, and check each A/T clutch pressure control
solenoid valve A, B, C, and D operation.
9. A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve - Operation
Check
*: Terminal side of male terminals
- Connect a jumper wire from the negative battery terminal to
A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A, B, C, and D
connector terminal No. 1, and connect another jumper wire
from the positive battery terminal to connector terminal No.2 individually.
- If an operating sound is heard, the A/T clutch pressure
control solenoid valve is OK. Go to the next step, and
install all removed parts.
- If no operating sound is heard, replace the secondary
valve body.
10.A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Connector - Connect
- Connect the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A,
B, C, or D connector.
11.12 Volt Battery Box - Install
- Connect the connector (A).
12.12 Volt Battery - Install
13.Air Intake Tube - Install
14.Front Bulkhead Cover - Install
