Removal
1. Camera Cover - Remove
- Remove the cover (A).
- Remove the camera cover (A).
2. Automatic Lighting/Rain Sensor - Remove
- Release the lock (A).
- Remove the automatic lighting/rain sensor (B) from the
bracket (C).
- Disconnect the connector (D).
- Remove the silicon sheet (A).
NOTE:
- Do not reuse the silicon sheet.
- If the silicon sheet is not on the back of the rain sensor
after removal, it will remain on the glass surface. Make
sure to peel it off prior to installation.
Installation
1. Silicon Sheet - Replace
NOTE:
- Never touch the primed surface on the automatic
lighting/rain sensor with your hands.
- Do not put on the silicon sheet out of the automatic
lighting/rain sensor area.
- Be careful not to touch the silicon sheet surfaces and make
sure it is clean. Keep it away from dust.
- Remove the protective sheet A from the silicon sheet (C).
- Hold the protective sheet B, then set and put the silicon
sheet on position (D) to the automatic lighting/rain sensor
(E).
- Remove the protective sheet B.
2. Automatic Lighting/Rain Sensor - Install
NOTE:
- If the automatic lighting/rain sensor connector is connected
after the 12 volt battery terminal is connected, the
automatic lighting/rain sensor is not confirmed by MICU.
- If the MICU does not confirm the automatic lighting/rain
sensor, the automatic wiper system does not work.
- Connect the automatic lighting/rain sensor connector first,
then connect the 12 volt battery terminal.
- Connect the connector (A).
- Install the automatic lighting/rain sensor (B) onto the
mounting bracket (C), then push in on the lock (D).
3. Camera Cover - Install
- Install the camera cover (A).
- Install the cover (A).
