Honda Pilot: D4 Switch Test

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repair or service.

1. Center Console - Remove

2. D4 Switch - Continuity Test

1. Remove the harness wire tie (A).
2. Disconnect the connector (B).
3. Check for continuity between D4 switch connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2. There should be continuity while pressing the D4 button and no continuity when the D4 button is released.

• If the D4 switch test is OK, the test is finished.
• If the D4 switch test fails, replace the D4 switch.

3. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
