Honda Pilot: Driving Position Memory Switch Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Driver's Door Panel - Remove

2. Driving Position Memory Switch - Remove

1. Disconnect the connector (A).
2. Remove the driving position memory switch (B).

3. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Dust and Pollen Filter Removal and Installation

1. Dust and Pollen Filter - Remove

2. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:

• Make sure that there is no air leaking out of the blower unit.
• If the Maintenance Minder required to replace the dust and pollen filter, reset the Maintenance Minder with the gauge. If the Maintenance Minder did not require to replace the dust and pollen filter, reset the Maintenance Minder with the HDS.
• If the bolt threads of the steering hanger beam are stripped, replace the bolts with one-size larger bolts, available as a service part which are specifically designed to tighten the instrument panel to the specified torque setting.

3. Maintenance Minder - Reset (With Maintenance Minder System)

If the Maintenance Minder required to replace the dust and pollen filter, reset the Maintenance Minder with the gauge. If the Maintenance Minder did not require to replace the dust and pollen filter, reset the Maintenance Minder with the HDS.
