Honda Pilot: Front Stabilizer Bar Removal and Installation

Honda Pilot 2016-2022 (YF5/YF6) Service Manual / Remove, Install, Replace, Check info / Front Stabilizer Bar Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Vehicle - Lift

2. Front Wheels - Remove

3. Engine Undercover - Removal

4. Stabilizer Link - Disconnect

  1. Disconnect both sides of the stabilizer link from the stabilizer bar.

5. Front Suspension Stroke Sensor - Disconnect (With Auto Leveling System)

6. Lower Arm - Remove (Driver's Side)

7. Stabilizer Bar - Remove

Honda Pilot. Remove, Install, Replace, Check info

  1. Remove the bushing holders (A).
  2. Remove the bushings (B).
  3. Move the stabilizer bar (C) toward the driver's side, and remove the stabilizer bar.

    NOTE: Be careful not to damage the steering gearbox.

Installation

1. Stabilizer Bar - Install

Honda Pilot. Remove, Install, Replace, Check info

  1. Install the stabilizer bar (A).

    NOTE: Be careful not to damage the steering gearbox.

  2. Install the bushings (B).

    Note: Direction of installation for the bushing.

  3. Install the bushing holders (C).

2. Lower Arm - Install (Driver's Side)

3. Front Suspension Stroke Sensor - Connect (With Auto Leveling System)

4. Stabilizer Link - Connect

  1. Connect both sides of the stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar.

5. Engine Undercover - Install

6. Front Wheels - Install

7. Headlight Initial Position - Learn (With Auto Leveling System)
