Honda Pilot: Glove Box Light Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation

1. Glove Box - Remove

2. Glove Box Light - Remove

Glove Box Light: 1.4W

1. Remove the bulb (A).

3. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Removal/Installation

1. Dashboard Side Lid - Remove (Passenger's Side)

2. Passenger's Dashboard Undercover - Remove

3. Passenger's Dashboard Trim Panel - Remove

4. Glove Box - Remove

1. Open the glove box (A).
2. Release both glove box stops (B) by pushing them in, and then pull down the glove box.

3. Remove the bolts (A) and screws (B).

4. Remove the glove box (A), and then remove the glove box light (B).

5. Glove Box Damper - Remove (For Some Models)

1. If necessary, remove the glove box damper (A).

6. Glove Box Lock Spacer - Remove

1. If necessary, remove the grove box lock spacer (A).

7. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

   NOTE: If the bolt threads of the steering hanger beam are stripped, replace the bolts with one-size larger bolts (available as a service part), which are specifically designed to tighten the instrument panel to the specified torque setting.

1. Audio Unit Assembly (Without Navigation) - Remove

2. Audio-Navigation Unit Assembly (With Navigation) - Remove

3. GPS Antenna - Remove

4. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
