Honda Pilot: Power Mirror Actuator Test

Test

1. Front Door Panel - Remove

2. Power Mirror Actuator - Test

1. Disconnect the connector (A).

  Driver's side

  Front passenger's side

  Left Power Mirror Actuator

Actuator Test

2. Check the actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.
3. If the mirror fails to work properly, check for an open or high resistance in the wire between the connector and the mirror holder. If the wire is OK, replace the power mirror actuator.

  Right Power Mirror Actuator

Defogger Test

4. Check for continuity between the terminals according to the table. There should be continuity.

5. If there is no continuity, check for an open or high resistance in the wire between the connector and the mirror holder. If the wire is OK, replace the mirror holder.

  Left and Right Power Mirror Retract Actuator (With retract power mirror)

  Defogger (With mirror defogger)

3. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
