1. Tailgate Lower Trim Panel - Remove
2. Power Tailgate Latch/Ratchet Switch - Test
- Disconnect the connector B.
- Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
- If the continuity is not specified, the tailgate latch switch is faulty; replace the tailgate latch assembly (A).
3. All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
