Honda Pilot: Second Row Seat-Back Recline Cable Removal and Installation

Removal and Installation

1. Second Row Seat - Remove

2. Second Row Seat Recline Cover - Remove

3. Second Row Seat Armrest - Remove (Left Side)

4. Second Row Seat Armrest Panel - Remove (Left Side)

5. Second Row Seat-Back Cover - Remove

6. Second Row Seat Cushion Cover - Remove

7. Second Row Seat-Back Recline Cable - Remove

Left seat

Right seat

1. Remove the screws, using a TORX T20 bit.
2. Remove the recline upper center cover (A). (left seat)
3. Remove the recline upper inner cover (B). (right seat)

4. Remove the pivot cover (A).

5. Fold down the second seat-back to the front side.
6. Remove the screw, using a TORX T20 bit.
7. Remove the recline outer inner cover (A).

Left seat

Right seat

8. Disconnect the second row seat-back recline cable (A) from the cable brackets (B).
9. Release the wire tie (C), the clips (D), and the hook (E), and then remove the recline cable.

8. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

1. Second Row Seat - Remove

2. Second Row Seat Recline Cover - Remove

3. Second Row Seat Armrest - Remove

4. Second Row Seat-Back Cover - Remove

5. Second Row Seat Cushion Cover - Remove

6. Second Row Seat-Back Recline Cable - Remove

1. Remove the screw, using a TORX T20 bit.
2. Remove the recline upper inner cover (A).

3. Remove the pivot cover (A).

4. Fold down the second seat-back to the front side.
5. Remove the screw, using a TORX T20 bit.
6. Remove the recline outer inner cover (A).

7. Disconnect the second row seat-back recline cable (A) from the cable bracket (B).
8. Release the wire tie (C), the clips (D), and the hook (E), and then remove the recline cable.

7. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
