Honda Pilot: Second Row Seat One-Touch Access Actuator Removal, Installation, and Test

Removal/Installation

Bench Seat

1. Second Row Seat - Remove

2. Second Row Seat-Back Cover - Remove

3. One-Touch Access Actuator - Remove

Left second row seat

Right second row seat

1. Remove the screw with a TORX T20 bit.
2. Remove the cover (A).

Left second row seat

Right second row seat

3. Remove the one-touch access actuator cable (A).
4. Disconnect the connector.
5. Remove the one-touch access actuator (B).

4. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

2. Second Row Seat-Back Cover - Remove

3. One-Touch Access Actuator - Remove

1. Remove the screw with a TORX T20 bit.
2. Remove the cover (A).

3. Remove the one-touch access actuator cable (A).
4. Disconnect the connector.
5. Remove the one-touch access actuator (B).

4. All Removed Parts - Install

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Test

1. One-Touch Access Actuator - Test

1. Check one-touch access actuator operation by connecting power to terminal No. 1 and ground to terminal No. 2. Apply battery voltage only momentarily. The one-touch access actuator should work.
2. If the one-touch access actuator does not work, the one- touch access actuator is faulty; replace the one-touch access actuator (A).
