1. Tailgate Lower Trim Panel - Remove
2. Tailgate Latch Switch - Test
- Disconnect the connector (A).
- Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
- If the continuity is not as specified, the tailgate latch switch is faulty; replace the tailgate latch (B).
3. All Parts Removed - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
