Replacement

1. Idler Gear Shaft Bearing - Remove

1. Remove the idler gear shaft bearing (A) using the 25 mm bearing remover, the remover handle, and the slide hammer.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the ATF guide plate (B) when setting the tip (C) of the 25 mm bearing remover.

2. Remove the ATF guide plate (A), and replace it if it is damaged.

2. Idler Gear Shaft Bearing - Install

1. Install the ATF guide plate (A).

2. Install the idler gear shaft bearing (A).

3. Drive the idler gear shaft bearing until it bottoms using the 15 x 135L driver handle and the 52 x 55 mm bearing driver attachment.
